During the appointment the Interim COO will be expected to establish stable and effective operational leadership develop and implement a clear operational improvement roadmap strengthen financial reporting forecasting and long-term planning and streamline organisational structures and decision-making processes. He or she will also improve accountability across operational departments modernise operational policies procedures and internal controls enhance cross-functional collaboration and institutional effectiveness and strengthen risk management and compliance systems.In short the candidate will leave the school with stronger systems clearer processes and a successful transition to a permanent Chief Operating Officer.
You will need a masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) Finance Organisational Leadership Educational Leadership or a related field. You will have a minimum of eight years of senior leadership experience in an international school educationalinstitution or similarly complex organisation serving as a Chief Operating Officer Director of Business Chief Financial Officer or an equivalent executive leader.
