Interserve International Structure
Interserve is a confederation of 14 National Offices. All our work is carried out under the leadership of the International Director and International Leadership Team (ILT), located in Asia. In each country where we work, the ILT appoints a Country Team Leader. Whilst Partners are administratively supported by their National Office, in their country of service they are accountable to their Country Team Leader.
Interserve International Governance
The International Director and ILT are accountable to an International Council comprising of 10 elected members. The 14 Interserve National Offices are independent entities but agree to work together and subscribe to a common set of principles and practices. View the National Offices here.
In Australia, Interserve mobilises, equips and prepares Australian Christians for service in partnership with their church. We work with the International fellowship to identify appropriate placements for workers and during the placement, we provide ongoing support alongside the sending church.
Interserve carries responsibility for the financial needs of Team Supported workers whilst on the field, as well as providing general administrative support and pastoral care, including debriefing and follow-up whilst workers are on home assignment. In all its actions Interserve seeks to encourage the sending church(es) to participate fully in the ministry and care of their mission workers.
