Male Primary Dorm Parent

We are looking for a man to become a residential primary dorm parent who will provide for the safety good discipline and pastoral well-being of all students in the dorm in line with the schools guiding principles through efficient management of the staffing organisation and resources of the dorm. During term-time you will work for approximately 48 hours per week over six days this will consist predominantly of evenings nights weekends and midnight dorm rounds. Shift hours generally include 2-3 morning shifts per week (6-8:30AM) and 6 evening and weekend shifts per week.

You will have a bachelors degree in a related educational field such as Education Student Services Counselling Nursing or SEN and experience in psychology social work counselling nursing and/or teaching in a residential setting. You will be able to lead discussions with students on a range of Personal Social Health and Economic Education topics.
