This is an interdenominational group that works with refugees treating each refugee with dignity seeing them as an enrichment for us personally and for our nation. They want to show the refugees that they are welcome in this country and build bridges between them and the local people. There are currently two full-time workers and many volunteers (up to 80 active each week) many of whom are students. Migrant Worker

The operations manager (OM) role focuses on leading the staff to success in ongoing key projects on a day to day basis. As the OM you would work closely with and report to the Field Coordinator to ensure that projects are moving forward to successful completion. Currently the team has several departments training communications support services ambassador hosting and distribution. The OM would oversee the work across these departments particularly focusing on the distribution ambassador hosting and support services departments.

This person needs to be well-versed in Asian culture as the team is multi-cultural. They also need to have great people skills and project management skills. It would be helpful if they had some familiarity with audio and video equipment and processes. It would also be helpful to have experience working with and overseeing teams to complete projects especially in a missions context.

This rural 150-bed hospital does nearly 4000 deliveries each year. The hospital has an active community health program and there are opportunities to be involved in research as well as clinical obstetrics. It is an integrated rural health and development program with extensive community work and there are strong links between the community antenatal clinics and the hospital.

An obstetrician is urgently needed for the hospital after the departure of a long-term senior obstetrician. The post includes a significant training component as national junior doctors are part of the team and come expecting postgraduate training. The hospital is nationally known for its training of nurse-midwives and community midwives as well as doctors. The existing obstetric team is about 50 per cent national and 50 per cent international doctors.

A capacity-building attitude will be a daily necessity (sometimes it is easier to do it yourself than teach someone else) but the hospital is in a unique position for holistic ministry at a number of levels.

An English-medium school serves the families of staff of the project and the wider community. The school serves a student population of around 140 national and some international children from 4 to 16 years of age. The schools class sizes are generally around 16 but smaller in the upper school with challenges of delivering Cambridge English medium education to second language speakers in a vibrant but challenging cross-cultural environment. The greatest need for teachers is in the upper school for O-levels but also for the reception and middle school years.

While long-term service (2 years or more) is preferredshorter periods of service are also welcome.

A long-term doctor would help give clinical leadership to a team of 1 senior and 4-5 junior national doctors.

Doctors are needed who are prepared to meet clinical need as it arises as well as to contribute to training in particular. Those with research interests will find opportunity to work on existing projects.
