Interserve Partner Bella* lives out the whole story every day. Working as a nurse amongst refugees in the Middle East, she meets families whose lives have been fractured by conflict and physical exhaustion.
Bella knows that the suffering she encounters requires a whole-person response.
“To offer only physical assistance and not point the way to eternal life does not address the whole person,” Bella reflects. “Tangibly caring for the community gives us opportunities to share and show who God is, and how he loves each person equally because they are made in his image.”
In a bustling city in Southeast Asia, Interserve Partners Mark and Stella* are also living out the whole story of God’s grace. They point to the love of Jesus by investing time and presence in spaces where vulnerable people can be seen and safe. Mark works with local churches to implement child safeguarding policies. Stella runs English classes for refugees that grow community, independence and employability. Together, they lead a local church plant where Christians and non- Christians gather to encounter Christ’s Good News.

Donations for Interserve’s other work (e.g. theological education and similar work with churches) are not tax-deductible. Receipts are issued by Interserve Australia Limited.
