The counsellor provides counselling and individualised support to male participants in the addiction recovery programme. This role involves conducting initial assessments developing and adjusting personalised treatment plans facilitating individual and group counselling sessions and coordinating with leadership to connect participants with resources that support their goals. The counsellor will also have the opportunity to offer services through a local university clinic. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and perceptive professional who can work effectively in a cross-cultural environment build trust with participants and demonstrate strong counselling and interpersonal skills.

The candidate will hold a masters degree or higher have training and experience in addiction counselling and cross-cultural work demonstrate a heart for pastoring men be fluent in English and work collaboratively within a team. This individual will be prepared to actively work towards advanced proficiency in the local language.
