Recent conflicts in the region have left many people traumatised and displaced. This organisation offers support advocacy and assistance for refugees living in a capital city in the Middle East.

This not-for-profit organisation sees many more needs than it can fulfil. By taking on this role you will help to increase the capacity of the organisation and its impact on the many people and families in this region who have little or no support. You will be responsible for keeping updated with refugee programmes offered in countries around the world and identifying suitable programmes for the families in process. You will explore other creative options to help resettle families abroad or back in their home countries. You will research possible funding streams to support the work of the ministry and help with marketing and communications. You will also maintain the organisations website.Some networking and communication with supporting organisations and ministries may be required.

Ideally you will be available for a minimum six months but preferably longer.English language fluency and good communication skills are essential. Arabic is not required but will be beneficial.You will be creative and show initiative and flexibility. You must be able to work both independently and within a multicultural team.Skills and experience relevant to the position are also required.
