Executive Director

Supported by international partners for nearly 50 years this NGO works with highly skilled national staff and a small team of expatriates to strengthen capacity and resilience among the countrys most vulnerable communities. Programmes prioritise economic development inclusive education health disaster response risk reduction and mother tongue literacy.

The Executive Director enables the organisation to fulfil the Boards ends through strategic spiritual and organisational leadership. Based in the capital (or home country with regular visits) the role leads the Senior Management Team and represents the organisation to partners donors government and civil society. Key duties include implementing strategy mentoring national leaders recruiting skilled expatriates strengthening partner relations ensuring effective government liaison and securing financial and human resources for long term sustainability.

The post requires proven leadership skills cross cultural ability strong communication skills in English fundraising experience and alignment with the organisations Christian ethos. Experience in the country and in public relations is desirable.
