Optometrist

This organisation was established in 1966 and is a non-profit charitable organisation where local staff serve in partnership with international volunteers to build capacity in the sectors of health and development working together in hope for the welfare of the people.

You will train national optometrists and ophthalmologists in the treatment of low vision with training in supportive devices contact lens prescription and binocular vision tests and tools such as Synoptophore.

You will hold a qualification in Optometry along with a valid licence to practise. You will have an interest in global eye health initiatives and capacity building.
