This NGO desires to bring hope and health through empowering men and women in our communities to make better choices regarding health during pregnancy and birthing. Training is done in interactive and appropriate ways that enable both literate and illiterate community members to understand about good practices during pregnancy and birth and in this way reduces maternal morbidity and mortality.

Reporting directly to the Country Director the National Maternal Health Coordinator will help to promote the programme within the NGO and support other NGOs implementing the same programme in order to ensure quality and consistency across the country.

The candidate should be female and either a medical doctor or with a Health-related degree at masters level or higher. She should have at least 5 years of related experience in maternal community health and have a passion for empowering and training women.
