We are a Christian inter-agency international non-profit cooperative that provides training consultation counselling assessment and opportunities for renewal for all expatriates living and working in this country. Our team consists of a variety of experienced and trained caring professionals. We aim for ethical spiritual and moral responsibility based on Biblical principles and founded in prayer.

The post holder will provide professional clinical counselling for individuals couples families and groups assessing each client to identify mental well-being concerns and emotional distress and offering an appropriate therapeutic approach. They will ensure adherence to a professional ethical framework such as BACP. They will assist with the centres training seminars as required. They will meet regularly with other colleagues for peer support and monthly with an external supervisor.They will assist with financial administration by communicating clearly with clients regarding appointments and by working with the office manager regarding payments for service provision. They will maintain accurate client records and document the therapeutic approaches provided and progress made ensuring the appropriate security of client notes.

Applicants should have cross-cultural experience preferably with an organisation good interpersonal skills with people from diverse backgrounds experience in providing a range of pastoral and mental health care services and a willingness to develop and provide training on relevant topics.They must hold a recognised professional clinical counselling qualification and have two or more years post-qualifying clinical practice. They need exemplary interpersonal and communication skills including written and verbal communication skills in English. The ability to speak another language and to provide clinical supervision and mentoring will be advantageous as will experience of living and working in the country of service.
