This development-based Christian outreach ministry has a unique system in which established Referring Partners refer all of our patients. We are committed to working side by side with local healthcare workers, seeing every case as a teaching opportunity. Through this we hope to build their skills and instill in them a desire to train.

All positions are teaching/training positions. Global workers will work alongside national staff with the goal of raising them into their positions. All positions are 5+ years unless specified. These are full-time positions. Days off-site are meant for preparation for teaching medicine and discipling in the local language. Currently we are looking for 2 primary care physicians (Internal Medicine, Family medicine), a physiotherapist, 1-2 general surgeons (would consider 1-3 years), an ophthalmologist (would consider 1-3 years), a surgical nurse, a nurse anesthetist (or anesthesiologist), and a lab technician (1-3 years).

The person will be a committed Christian, willing to encourage and train local staff. All medical staff must have current licensure from their home countries. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred. Residency (post-graduate) level training is required for Doctors.

University education is expanding rapidly in this country and educators are needed in all fields of study. Universities here hire foreign faculty members to teach in a wide variety of departments. Most departments offer Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD degrees.

Quite a few universities now use English as the language for instruction (including assignments and assessments). Others use the national language. The normal duties of university assistant, and associate and full professors are teaching and research, with some department service. Instructors teach more classes, but are not expected to do research. Policies, teaching load, research expectations and compensation vary, according to university and department.
