Psychiatrist

This organisation serves cross-cultural workers in Asia and around the world through clinical counselling soul care coaching training and events. We are a Christian donor-funded organisation based in a capital city in Asia.

You will be part of a team based in the north of the country that provides professional psychiatric care primarily in English to cross-cultural workers from across East Asia.You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments developing treatment plans and providing medication management in accordance with best practice guidelines. Participation in regular individual and group supervision is expected as part of a multidisciplinary team. As part of our commitment to strategic prayer and ministry we ask that you participate in prayer meetings and our annual conference while focusing on ministry with your team. Additionally we expect you to learn the local language and culture prior to beginning your ministry to foster deeper cultural connection and effectiveness in your role.

A minimum of a Doctorate in Psychiatry is required. You must be licensed or have an equivalent qualification from your passport country. More than three years experience is required.
