Testimonies of God’s goodness
These days, if you have a question about something, it’s likely you’ll look for an answer online. This happens especially when the question is one the people around you may not support or even know the answer to.
For questions about Jesus, people who don’t personally know Christians from their own language or cultural background can look online. But this information can be difficult to access if it’s in a different language or comes from a different cultural perspective.
To address this, Interserve Partners Mel and Simon* create media that enables people to tell their faith stories in their own languages, to their own people.
These testimonies of God’s goodness and transforming power are both encouraging the storytellers in their own walk with the Lord, and impacting other people in their faith around the world.
“The more I watch it, the more I see Jesus.”
One woman said when she saw her own testimony on video: “The more I watch it, the more I see Jesus. I see His hands. It is an opportunity where I can create space for God to be God. This testimony blessed me more than I imagined.”
A young person was moved by watching the testimonies: ‘Your videos make me want to be closer to God!”
And a Balinese person celebrated seeing a Balinese testimony: “I too am a Balinese and it’s only been two years since I accepted the Lord Jesus. I live in Japan and the Lord Jesus is the real God I am looking for… may this testimony help more and more souls be saved.”
How will you join in telling the stories of God’s goodness and faithfulness?
Will you support work like this in Interserve’s June Appeal?
