About this conference?

Interserve desires to see

Lives and communities transformed through encounter with Jesus Christ.

and in light of this vision, we come together

To make Jesus Christ known among the peoples of Asia and the Arab world.

For the last 170 years, Interserve has sent Christians to serve in communities throughout Asia and the Arab world. Today, many people from these lands now call Australia home.

We want to partner with you, the Australian church, as you fulfil your call to local and global mission.

Interserve would like to walk alongside you as your church responds to this new God-presented opportunity to serve inter-culturally. Interserve’s cultural expertise in working amongst the peoples of Asia and the Arab world can be a blessing to Australian churches, helping you be equipped for inter-cultural mission here and around the world.

At Local//Global you will:

  • Come and learn about trends in mission and the global church
  • Hear from Interserve team members who are partnering with Australian churches to support new arrivals
  • Engage with new resources designed to help Christians in Australia build connection with their global neighbours

Interserve Australia

Interserve is a community of ordinary Christians putting faith into action. We live and work among the most marginalised peoples of the Arab world, Asia and Australia.

Motivated by Christ’s heart of compassion, and in partnership with His church, we share our skills and experience to change tomorrow by what we do today.
