It’s time for the Australian Team Retreat!

Our Australian Team Retreat is coming up at the end of July. We are looking forward to gathering together – don’t forget to register by July 10!

As we gather, our hope is to:

• Connect with one another around our shared love of God and commitment to his mission by sharing our own stories and testimonies of his grace in and through our lives.
• Discover new ways of collaborating by being inspired and informed through relevant teaching and workshops.
• Build our capacity in key activities supporting the ISV ministry and community

When?

Friday evening 28^th July – Sunday afternoon 30^th July
Interstate attendees book flights to arrive Friday by 4pm and depart after 5pm Sunday.

Program?

Friday check in from 3pm, then grab a friend or two and head out into Melbourne CBD for dinner and fellowship. After dinner we’ll reconvene at CYC to formally commence the conference by spending time connecting and sharing stories.

Saturday will kick off with time of worship and reflection together, followed by hearing from our keynote speaker Mark Durie as he delves into intercultural discipleship, one of our core ministry approaches. On Saturday afternoon we will have our capacity-building workshops. We are looking forward to sharing some of the new tools and resources of the international fellowship on Link2Serve Cloud, collaborating on ministry fundraising skills and ideas, diving deeper into our discipleship approach, and considering how to continue to trust God’s purposes in difficult spaces. After dinner join an evening with David and Ruth Cummings, founders of Wycliffe Australia, as they share their story.

Sunday will start with another time of worship and reflection, then we will spend time collaborating and networking in our areas of ministry, share lunch together and finish up by 3pm.

Children?

The conference will be fully catered and includes a children/youth program. Please note that childcare for children under 3 will depend on child’s needs and finding suitable childcare support. However there is space suitable for parents to supervise children while attending the conference. For questions regarding small children or the children/youth programs please contact Kath.

Accommodation?

We are at CYC City Campus, in the Melbourne CBD. It is a school camp venue so accommodation is shared with ensuites. We will accommodate families with children in their own rooms. Check out CYC for more info.

Cost?

The cost of the conference, including food (except Friday night dinner) and accommodation is covered by us. As per our recently released Australian based Partner finance manual, we are also offering travel subsidies for interstate attendees to help them attend. Read more here.
